A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that AMC’s “The Killing” TV star Joel Kinnaman would be starring in the 1987 remake of “Robocop”, first made famous by actor Peter Weller.
Deadline now reports that Sony Pictures will be the one to distribute MGM’s “Robocop” remake, set to be directed by “Elite Squad” director Jose Padilha.
Strike Entertainment partners Eric Newman and Marc Abraham are producing with a script by Josh Zetumer. No word yet on a release date.
