Caffeinated Clint
A couple of months ago it was ostensibly full speed ahead on a new “Rocky” flick for Sly Stallone. He’d apparently written an outline, started training for it and pencilled it into his diary for a 2004 start date. But now, by the sounds of it, the project mightn’t be as much a ‘go’ as what we’ve been led to believe – with the Italian Stallion confirming to Access Hollywood that "There is a certain person who does not want to make it…Let’s just say it’s someone who is in control of it". With rights holders, studio heads [who apparently only want to give him $10 million] and possibly Burt Young [that’s a gag…he’d do anything] playing hardball, Sly’s got a bit of a challenge on his hands. Be interesting to see if it ever happens. The planned “Rocky 6 : Punchers Chance” will – or would have – see the old guy – now running a youth centre – forced back in the ring for one last time.
