Warners Bros is set to develop 60s Looney Tunes TV show “Speedy Gonzales” into an animated feature.
According to Deadline, the Mexican mouse will be voiced by Mexican filmmaker/actor Eugenio Derbez in the project which is tentatively titled “Speedy”.
Hank Nelken will script the story, which is described as “a heist caper”.
Producers are Dylan Sellers of Rivers Edge Films with Derbez and Ben Odell via 3pas Studios.
