According to the girl at my local juice store, the casting for “The Hunger Games” movie, based on her favourite book series, is a little ‘odd’. She’s worried. This latest bit of casting should not be of any concern though – or atleast it won’t be once I inform the squeezer girl just how many great performances Stanley Tucci has given us; from “In the Soup” to “Men of Respect”, “The Devil Wears Prada”, “The Terminal” and “The Lovely Bones” (he was easily the best thing in it), Tucci hits it out of the park each and every time. He will here again. Guaranteed. Juice girl.
Lionsgate announced today that Tucci, who next appears in the “Captain America” movie, will join Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Wes Bentley in director Gary Ross’s “Hunger Games”.

About The Role
Caesar Flickerman is utterly familiar to all the citizens of Panem as the l host of the Hunger Games. Known for his outrageous appearance and buoyant personality, his upbeat interviews of the 24 tributes – a boy and a girl from each of the country’s 12 districts – are presented on every television in the nation. He is famous for turning any conversation around to the positive and finding humor in even the most dire circumstances.
About The Film
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games.
