Steven Seagal has always let it be known that he won’t be appearing in an “Expendables” film alongside his fellow action stars of the ’80s and ’90s. But has the success of the first two “Expendables” movies, and the lack of success the “Under Siege” star has garnered of late led to a change of mind?
Sylvester Stallone, star and writer of the upcoming “The Expendables 3”, tweeted (as in posted; he doesn’t do impressions of birds) that Seagal has expressed interest in appearing in the next film.
Just talked to STEVEN S. in Moscow …Sounds great and says he wants to be in EX3, if the part fits….
Assumingly, Stallone would have Seagal play a role similar in size to that of Chuck Norris’s in the last one – or maybe he’ll cameo at the film’s beginning or end? At this late stage, I can’t see him “writing in” a character for Seagal, especially one that’s going to suit all his needs. Still, a cameo would be fun! Let’s see how this pans out…
Stallone has Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke for the film, Seagal would be a beaut trifecta.
