Adam Brody (Shazam!, “The OC”) will star alongside Kristen Bell in a new untitled Netflix comedy series.

The comedy centers on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman (Bell) and an unconventional rabbi (Brody).

Brody will play Noah, a charming rabbi who is stuck in his ways and used to playing things safe. He starts to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, totally upending his safe life plan. Bell is the lead of the series, Joanne, as previously announced.

Earlier this year, Brody reprised his role as “Superhero Freddy” in DC’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods. He will next be seen in a reboot of the classic film, River Wild, alongside Leighton Meester and Taran Killam. In 2020, Brody was seen in the Academy Award nominated crime thriller, Promising Young Woman, and was featured in the award-winning miniseries, “Mrs. America.”

The Untitled Erin Foster Comedy Series is created by Erin Foster.
