Justice League

A couple of days back we spoke to actress Megan Gale who revealed that she’d still be very keen to play Wonder Woman if the opportunity arises. In an interview with today’s Sunday Herald-Sun (Via What’s Playing), the 5’10 stunner said “I haven’t given up [on Justice League] – but I just don’t think about it. You can’t because what happened with that happens all the time”. Gale also revealed that the famous Wonder Woman outfit had already been made prior to the film’s 2008 cancellation. “The costume was done. Fit to my body – no one else’s”.

Ghost Rider 2

Will Nicolas Cage choose “National Treasure 3” over “Ghost Rider 2”? Quite possibly – and if he does, Vulture says Sony will be recasting the role of Johnny Blaze (which, in some respects, makes sense anyway since the new film is essentially a ‘reboot’ anyway); seems if the sequel isn’t in production by November 14, Columbia loses the rights to the character and they’ll revert back to Marvel/Disney.

Ant-Man

When the heck if the long-gestating feature film adaptation of Marvel’s “Ant-Man” happening? The shingle’s Kevin Feige tells Coming Soon that it’ll possibly go before the cameras towards the end of 2011. “Edgar was in L.A. last week, we sat down, and we started working on a calendar of when to get him back into it once he finishes promoting ‘Scott Pilgrim,’ so I think towards the end of this year, early next year we’d start looking at early prep for that, but certainly for a release date after ‘The Avengers.'”

Black-Widow

If any of the characters from “Iron Man 2” is worthy of a spin-off (well, besides ‘War Machine’) it’s ‘Black Widow’ played by Scarlett Johansson. At the film’s L.A Junket on Friday, Marvel’s Kevin Feige said it’s “Definitely possible” we’ll be seeing Johansson back in the leather garb, headlining her own movie, in future years.

Iron Man 2

Writer Justin Theroux tells Collider that, like the first movie, there will be a special after-credits Easter Egg for “Iron Man 2” viewers. It’s likely that the first people to see the ‘Easter Egg’ will be those the cinema-goers that check out “Iron Man 2” on opening day since press screenings have so far excised the after-credits sequence.

Batman 3

In an interview with Cinematical, cinematographer Wally Pfister said he and Christopher Nolan have ruled out shooting the next installment of the superhero series in 3D. “What Chris and I have talked about is doing something cool and something interesting. [Director] Brad Bird was [saying] ‘you’ve got to shoot the whole thing in IMAX!’ I was like, yeah, I’ve talked to Chris about that.”
