Superman Ursa short list whittled down to two

Or so it would seem.

Rosamund Pike, who, with Alice Eve and Diane Kruger, was revealed to be a leading contender for the role of the villainness ‘Ursa’ in Zack Snyder’s new “Superman” movie has ostensibly taken herself out of the race by signing for another big WB movie, “Wrath of the Titans”, says Deadline.

Pike, whose credits include 007 effort “Die Another Day” and the Keira Knightley-led “Pride and Prejudice”, would play Princess Andromeda in the “Clash of the Titans” sequel (Alexa Davalos played the role in “Clash”).

If that’s the case then Alice Eve and Diane Kruger remain the leading contenders for the part – though interestingly enough Krueger denied she was up for the film a few days back, which could suggest “She’s Out of My League” stunner Eve has the role in the bag. At the same time, Kruger might be simply doing the ol’ deny, deny, deny until the ink dries.

If it is between Alice Eve and Diane Kruger, who’s your pick for Ursa?
