1. “Prison Break” and “Private Practice” star Paul Adelstein is set to star opposite Debra Messing in CBS‘ untitled Julie Rottenberg/Elisa Zuritsky pilot.
2. FX is starting a spin-off channel FXX, which will attract younger viewers. Launching September 2, the channel will ultimately be the new home of ”It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”, ”The League” and ”Legit”. Meantime the network has renewed “Justified”, as well as greenlit a half-hour comedy from Charlie Kaufman called “How and Why”, Guillermo del Toro’s “The Strain”, “Fargo”, “Grand Hotel” from Sam Mendes, “Tyrant”, which Ang Lee will direct the pilot of, and a couple more.
