1. “True Blood”‘s sixth season begins June 11, HBO announced today.

2. NBC pilot “Girlfriend in a Coma” has been delayed. Christina Ricci’s exit from the series ten days ago hurt the show, because producers haven’t had enough time to find a suitable replacement.

3. Matthew Broderick is set to star in a new sitcom from “Scrubs” alum Tim Quill. “The multicamera comedy centers on Jack, a recently widowed father raising his 12-year-old son while jumping back into the dating pool.” James Burrows will direct the pilot.

4. Tina Fey/Steve Carell comedy “Mail Order Groom” has been pushed back to next year. The film was forced to postpone it’s shooting dates because of other commitments the actors have.

5. AMC’s “The Killing” returns to the air on June 2, with a special two-hour season premiere.

6. A new clip from Lifetime biopic “Ring of Fire”, featuring Jewel as June Carter Cash, is online.

7. How are those plot threads going to be tied up on the just-cancelled “The Clone Wars”? Well, according to TheForce.net, “A source in the know tells me that Lucasfilm is only finishing two story arcs from the material that they had planned for The Clone Wars Season Six. Among the story arcs that will not emerge in this post-cancellation era is one that dealt with Boba Fett and the other bounty hunters who have menaced the heroes for several seasons. This story arc, which my source tells me was almost done, would have shown us the fates of Cad Bane and Aurra Sing.”
