Texas Chainsaw reboot directors fired one week into filming!

Just one week into production, Legendary’s “Texas Chainsaw Masscare” reboot has swapped out directors Andy & Ryan Tohill for David Blue Garcia.

Garcia, an award-winner whose feature debut was the low-budget “Tejano”, steps in for two helmers who were axed after financier Legendary didn’t spark to what it saw.

The new “Chainsaw”, which is shooting in Bulgaria, reportedly picks up where the original ’70s flick left off.

The cast is led by Elsie Fisher (”Eighth Grade”), Sarah Yarkin (”Happy Death Day 2U”), Jacob Latimore (”The Maze Runner”) and Moe Dunford (”Vikings”).  Producers on the project include “Evil Dead” (2003) helmer Fede Alvarez.
