“Rogue” and “Mission : Impossible 2” star Thandie Newton has joined the [very impressive] cast of HBO and Bad Robot’s “Westworld”.
The series reunites Newton with “Mission : Impossible 2” co-star Anthony Hopkins. Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris and make up other big names participating in the TV version of the Michael Crichton anecdote.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Newton is playing Maeve Millay, a “beautiful and razor-sharp woman with a genius for reading people and a knack for survival.”
“Westworld” will be directed by writer cum filmmaker Jonathan Nolan.
