The Conjuring 2 pushed to 2016

New Line’s “Conjuring” sequel has been pushed back to a 2016 release.

Previously slated to bow on October 23, 2015, “The Conjuring 2″ has been bumped for another, thus far untitled, horror flick.

A firm date for the sequel to last year’s surprise hit has not yet been set within 2016. Thus far the film does not have a director, however Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will return to star.

“Annabelle” – New Line’s spinoff about a possessed doll introduced in “The Conjuring” – has just bowed and has made a lofty $166 million at the worldwide box office in three weeks.
