TV regular Anthony Carrigan (Gotham, The Flash, Barry) has joined the cast of Superman: Legacy, playing iconic villain Metamorpho, a.k.a. Rex Mason, a figure with the ability to change his body into any element.
“I am unbelievably excited for Metamorpho (and this opportunity to work with Anthony Carrigan),” writer-director James Gunn wrote on Twitter.
Carrigan joins a cast that includes David Corenswet and Rachel Broshanan as Superman and Lois Lane, and Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, and Edi Gathegi who will each be playing DC superheroes Green Lantern, Hawgirl, and Mister Terrific, respectively.
The heavily-coveted role of Lex Luthor will likely be the next one to be announced.
