Sony “only delayed” the much-talked-about “The Interview”, according to the studio’s lawyer.
Despite suggestions that the film mightn’t see the light of day, lawyer David Boies appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday and reiterated that the film has been merely delayed.
“Sony has been fighting to get this picture distributed. It will be distributed. How it’s going to be distributed, I don’t think anybody knows quite yet. But it’s going to be distributed.”
At this stage, not even VOD outlets won’t to touch the film so it’ll be a while before the film – originally planned for a December 25 release – comes out.
