A24 will release dark comedy “The Lobster”, starring Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz, on May 13.
Alchemy previously set the film to release on March 11, but when the company came into hard times and had to ditch the film, A24 picked it up and re-slated it.
Yorgos Lanthimos directed the film, making his English language feature debut. Lea Seydoux, John C. Reilly, Ben Whishaw and Olivia Colman co-star.
In a dystopian near future, single people are obliged to find a matching mate in 45 days or are transformed into animals and released into the woods.
