20th Century Fox has moved Ridley Scott’s “The Martian” up to October 2 from an original release date of November 25.
According to Deadline, the studio has moved “Victor Frankenstein” into the November 25 slot.
“The Martian” (which stars Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Donald Glover) will now open against “London Has Fallen”, “The Walk” and “Adam Jones”.
“Victor Frankenstein” stars James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe, Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott, Mark Gatiss and Freddie Fox under the direction of Paul McGuigan.
