Former "Boston Public" and "Star Trek : Voyager" hottie Jeri Ryan is coming to New Port to hotten up proceedings.
FOX have asked Ryan – who recently got a pink-slip from David E.Kelley’s "Boston Public" – to join the cast of their incessantly popular teen soap "The OC".
Ryan will play Charlotte Morgan, a woman with a secret who becomes buddies with Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) while the latter character dries out in rehab.
The third season of "The OC" begins in September. Ryan will be seen in seven of the episodes, says Variety.
