Jim Caviezel starring in new film from Pitof
It probably goes without saying that Jim Caviezel will never top his performance as ‘Jesus’ – “Superman” was pretty the closest he would’ve gotten – but who would’ve thought “The Passion of the Christ” would be his last ‘major’ movie of merit? It’s damn looking that way.
Caviezel, hot off the rather so-so crime thriller “Déjà vu”, is starring in Pitof’s – the Frenchman responsible for the disaster that was “Catwoman”! – next flick. Yep, they’ve given the guy that made “Catwoman” some more cash to wreck more havoc… and JC’s going along for the ride.
“Only in New York”, written by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld and Geebee Dajani, follows a recently paroled street hustler looking for a new life and seeking redemption only to find his path blocked by the combustible melange of New York elements that once did him in.
Atleast it sounds more ‘filmable’ than “Catwoman”.
Caviezel’s next flick is the Weinstein’s “Outlander”.
