The Sandman will don the New Line Cinema logo

New Line Cinema will now house all movies based on DC Comics’ ‘Vertigo’ label, according to Deadline.

Warner Bros, who runs ruck on the DC film slog, has it’s “hands full” with their line-up of superhero fare, like “Justice League”, “Aquaman”, and “Wonder Woman”, that it was decided that the Vertigo titles would get more attention under the New Line label. Toby Emmerich and Richard Brener will steer the slate.

Among Vertigo titles that are eyeing a big screen run, Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman” which Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attached to direct and star in.
