Caffeinated Clint
Thesps Jessica Chastain (“Tree of Life”), Bryan Cranston (“Drive”) and Martin Short (Okay, so he’s less ‘Thesp’ and more wind-up jack-in-the-box) will lend their lungs to the “Madagascar”, reports Heat Vision.
The even-wealthier original outfit, including David Schwimmer, Ben Stiller and Chris Rock, are obviously all returning too.
Chastain will voice a new character named Gia the jaguar while Cranston a Siberian tiger and Short one called Stefano the sea lion.
Storyline for the new film, directed by Eric Darnell and Conrad Vernon, was released last week :
“Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple, and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe, where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent — Madagascar-style.”
Don’t remember even sitting through all of “Madagascar 2″… probably no fault of the film, probably just realized “Return to Two Moon Junction” or something was playing on the other channel. The bed-wetting 4-year-old with a penchant for bright things yells ‘bring it on!’
