They have a mother fucking boat, they sleep with each other’s ma’s, and now, they’ve got their own dang movie.
The boys from Lonely Island – satirical musical group consisting of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone – are crafting a movie project for themselves. Schaffer and Taccone will co-direct, with Universal distributing. And, yep, the flick will be set within the music world. Expect songs.
It’s not the first flick the Lonely Island troupe have done together – they also teamed for the 2007 comedy “Hot Rod”, though it likely wasn’t what their fans expected from them – sans tunes and all.
