Coming to Cinema Nova’s Late Night Cult Cravings, Mega Shark from Giant Octopus from US B-movie specialists The Asylum has a title that just says it all! A YouTube sensation, the trailer has 3 million views and counting.

Directed by Jack Perez and starring 80s pop star Debbie (Deborah) Gibson and Lorenzo Lamas from early 90s classic action series Renegade, this is B-grade schlock at its best (and worst).

Unexplained incidents are occurring all over the Pacific Ocean as a group of rebel scientists figure out a prehistoric megalodon shark and a giant octopus have been unleashed thanks to an illegal military operation. Now, the scientists must destroy the sea monsters without annihilating the rest of the world in the process.
