Kevin Williamson finds his H.G Wells for Time After Time series

Freddie Stroma (“UnREAL”) has been cast in Kevin Williamson’s “Time Machine”-inspired series “Time After Time”, says Deadline.

The series is based on the 1979 novel and Nicholas Meyer-directed movie.

Stroma will play a young H.G Wells. “Dawson’s Creek” and “Vampire Diaries” alum Williamson wrote the pilot and will executive produce the series. Marcos Siega will direct.

Stroma plays Bachelor Adam on Lifetime’s “UnREAL”; his other credits include “13 Hours : The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” and the next season of “Game of Thrones”.
