Tom Hanks is developing “Greyhound”, a World War II drama which he wrote and is eyeing as a potential starring vehicle.
Aaron Schneider will direct the film which Hanks’ Playtone partner Gary Goetzman will produce.
According to Deadline, the film follows a career officer finally given command of a Navy destroyer. Along with the enemy, he fights his self doubts and personal demons to prove he belongs. The title comes from the battleship.
