Amazon is building a Tomb Raider universe, with The Hollywood Reporter confirming that a new feature film, video game, and series is in the works that will ”build out a connected world”and interconnect in a fashion similar to Marvel’s work.
It was revealed a couple of days back that Phoebe Waller-Bridge was penning the TV series version as the first project in a deal Amazon secured with Dmitri M. Johnson’s dj2 Entertainment.
The new film, which likely won’t share a link with the Alicia Vikander-starring version from a couple of years ago, won’t boast the services of Waller-Bridge.
dj2 Entertainment previously brought fellow game Sonic the Hedgehog to the big screen.
