Toni Collette & Jason Patric join war drama The Yellow Birds

Toni Collette and Jason Patric will star opposite Jennifer Aniston, Jack Huston, Tye Sheridan and Alden Ehrenreich in war drama “The Yellow Birds”.

Collette will play the mother of a soldier who returns from war with a secret that has forever changed him, and Patric will play a captain.

Sheridan and Ehrenreich play two Army enlistees sent to fight in the Gulf War, Huston plays a sergeant who takes the two young men under his wing, and Aniston plays the mother of one of the men.

Alexandre Moors is directing from David Lowery’s script based on Kevin Powers’ book.
