Trailer and Images for SyFy’s Helix

With sci-fi TV and movies becoming some of the hottest things out of Hollywood these days, there’s no wonder that “Battlestar Galactica” exec producer Ronald D. Moore has got two new series heading for our television (and no doubt computer) screens, according to Collider.

Although he’s currently filming the first season of book series adaptation “Outlander”, the series due to hit airwaves soon is “Helix” – and we have the very first trailer and some images for your viewing pleasure.

Described as a thriller, the series follows a team of scientists from the Centres for Disease Control who find themselves off to the Arctic to investigate a potential disease outbreak – and naturally, things only escalate from there.

The series stars Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky, Jordan Hayes, Catherine Lemieux, Neil Napier, Mark Ghanime and Meegwun Fairbrother. Helix will make its debut on the SyFy channel on January 10th 2014.
