DC Universe Original Movies is releasing the latest installment in direct-to-video animated films with “Batman and Harley Quinn”, set to be released this summer.
EW have had first look at the trailer, which sees Batman and Nightwing trying to stop an attempt at an apocalypse by Poison Ivy. To do so, they team up with Ivy’s old nemesis Harley Quinn, which sees tension between Quinn and Batman. Fun fact: my cat’s namesake is from Ivy, I’m just hoping she doesn’t become evil (or moreso than what she already is).
If you think Harley Quinn’s high-pictched voice sounds familiar, you’d probably recognise it as Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) from The Big Bang Theory. Returning from previous batman animated series movies are Kevin Conroy voicing Batman and Loren Lester as Nightwing.
