Trailer for Channing Tatum’s 10 Years

It’s been far too long since we’ve heard ‘Time After Time’…. or whatever go-to ’80s song they usually use in these movies.

A new High School reunion comedy, much like some of the reunion-centric DVDs in my collection (“Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion” and “Grosse Point Blank” I’m referring to, not the ‘school band’ video that my dad still pulls out every couple of years as his key tool of embarrassment), is it’s way to red-face former blemish-free prom kings and prom queens, and spill stale beer on the laminated covers of yearbooks.

“10 Years” features studly Channing Tatum, Justin Long, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie, Ron Livingston, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Scott Porter, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Osaac Isaac and Kate Mara and is the directorial debut of “Dear John” scribe Jamie Linden. Tatum, a producer on the project, seems to have had no trouble roping some famous, bankable faces into the picture.

It’s been a good twelve months for Tatum; on top of “21 Jump Street”, “The Vow”, and “Magic Mike” he also has a role in the testosterone-pumping “G.I Joe : Retaliation” and is expected to reprise his role as the jock-cop ‘Jenko’ in a sequel to “Jump Street”. After that, he’s expected to marry me. I hope.
