TNT has released the first trailer for “Falling Skies”, a new alien invasion series from executive producer Steven Spielberg, starring Noah Wyle (“E.R”) and Moon Bloodgood (“Journeyman”).
The series, which Spielberg conceived with screenwriter Robert Rodat (“Saving Private Ryan”), stars Wyle as the leader of a ragtag group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an extraterrestrial occupying force.
“[The Spielberg show is] one of the most exciting things for us on the horizon,” says Michael Wright, exec VP-head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. “It’s fun, exciting—a very cool show with a lot of special effects.”
“Falling Skies” will air mid-year on TNT.
