The trailer for western comedy thriller “Slow West” has been released.
Writer/director John Maclean helms a cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Mendelsohn and Caren Pistorius.
The film is set in late 19th Century Colorado and follows a young man’s epic search for the love of his life. Fassbender stars as Silas Selleck , a mysterious and inscrutable stranger acting as the paid protector to sixteen-year-old Scottish aristocrat Jay Cavendish (Smit-McPhee), who is on a reckless journey through the American Wild West. Mendelsohn crosses their paths as Payne, the leader of an intimidating posse of outlaws on their journey to find Rose Ross (Pistorius), the humble farmer’s daughter who fled from Jay’s life.
“Slow West will open in limited release and on iTunes from May 15.
