The official trailer for director Brad Anderson’s thriller “Stonehearst Asylum” has hit the web.
The trailer, released via Yahoo Movies, gives us a look at the film’s stars Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley in the film adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story “The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether”.
The film follows a medical school graduate who lands a position at a mental institution. Ignorant of a recent, horrifying staffing change, the hospital’s new recruit finds himself especially taken with one of his new colleagues.
“Stonehearst Asylum” will be released in cinemas and On Demand on October 24.
