The Munsters

From Rob Zombie comes the strangest love story ever told as Herman and Lily’s crazy courtship takes The Munsters on a hauntingly hilarious trip from Transylvania to Hollywood in the all-new feature length film. Starring Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman and Daniel Roebuck as The Count, the film will release this September from Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.

 

Get Away If You Can

A tense and intimate relationship drama, filmmaking duo (and spouses) Terrence Martin and Dominique Braun star in this story of a married couple pushed to the brink during a sailing trip that turns into something else entirely.  Also starring Ed Harris.

In theaters and on digital August 19.

 

Orphan : First Kill

Paramount+ and Paramount Home Entertainment today announced that the highly anticipated horror prequel “Orphan : First Kill” will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ and will be available to purchase on Digital beginning Friday, August 19, 2022 in the U.S. The film will also debut in limited theaters.

Produced by eOne and Dark Castle Entertainment, the prequel stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Rossif Sutherland and Julia Stiles.

Esther’s terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit “Orphan.” After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. Yet, an unexpected twist arises that pits her against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.

 

The Retaliators

Ahead of the worldwide theatrical release September 14, Better Noise Films has provided us with the new trailer for “The Retaliators”.

The Michael Lombardi-starrer sees an upstanding pastor uncover a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers surrounding his daughter’s brutal murder. A high-octane original soundtrack and cameos from some of the biggest names in rock music set the tone as this horror-thriller reveals a game of revenge played using a new set of rules.

Five Finger Death Punch, Joseph Gatt, Papa Roach, The Hu, Ice Nine Kills, Escape The Fate, and more appear on screen.

What better place to drown your sorrows than an idyllic island paradise? That was the idea when Jesse’s friends convinced her to not let a broken engagement stand in the way of enjoying her prepaid honeymoon. Their sorrows weren’t the only thing going to drown on their trip especially with a man-eating shark swimming just below the surface.

I Love My Dad

Inspired by writer, director, and star James Morosini’s true life experience, “I Love My Dad” follows Chuck (Patton Oswalt), a hopelessly estranged father who desperately wants to reconnect with his troubled son, Franklin (Morosini). Blocked on social media and concerned for his son’s life, Chuck impersonates a waitress online and starts checking in with Franklin. But things begin to spiral when Franklin falls for this imaginary girl (Claudia Sulewski) and wants nothing more than to meet her in person, as Chuck has inadvertently catfished his own son. A thrilling comedy with an unexpected twist, the pic also stars Rachel Dratch, Lil Rel Howery, Amy Landecker and Ricky Velez. In theaters August 5 from Magnolia Releasing.
