Has the third “Tron” flick – the existence of which has surprised many, considering the tanking “Tron Legacy” encountered a couple of years back – been titled?
According to Production Weekly, director Joseph Krosinski’s techy-threequel is titled “Tron : Ascension”.
Coincidentally, ‘Ascension’ was also the subtitle given to the name of the first of the “Dracula 2000” sequels.
The film is reportedly gearing up for a shoot in Vancouver this October. Garrett Hedlund is reprising his role as Sam Flynn, but no word on whether Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Cillian Murphy (who put in an uncredited appearance in “Tron Legacy” to set up his villanous role in a third film), Bruce Boxleitner, or Jeffrey Nordling have been roped into a reprise yet.
