It’s anyone’s guess whether or not there’ll be another “TRON” movie, but one thing’s for sure Disney’s still keeping the Grid illuminated.
Premiering on Disney XD in 2012, “TRON Uprising” is a new animated series that takes place before the events of the moderately-successful “TRON Legacy“. In addition to superstars Mandy Moore, Elijah Wood and Paul ‘Pee Wee Herman’ Reubens, Bruce Boxleitner reprises his role – albeit voice only – as TRON.
A trailer for the series – which you’ll be able to see on the new “TRON : Legacy” Blu-ray and DVD – hit the web today. Must say, it looks pretty spiffy!
