A sequel to popular indie action comedy “Turbo Kid” (2015) is in the works.
RKSS Films (Anouk Whissell, François Simard, and Yoann-Karl Whissell) have confirmed that a direct sequel to the Michael Ironside starrer is on the way, with Téléfilm Canada and SODEC giving the film a greenlight this week. While Whissell doesn’t give up plot deets, he does say the new film will pick up directly where the previous left off.
“Turbo Kid” stars Munro Chambers and Laurence Beboeuf, both who have expressed interest in a sequel, will likely be back for seconds.
