A series based on the sensational but little-seen David Duchovny/Demi Moore flick “The Joneses” (2009) is in the works, according to Deadline.
”Life Unexpected” creator/executive producer Liz Tigelaar has reunited with the series’ executive producers Gary Fleder and Mary Beth Basile, says the site, and the show will likely follow the same storyline as the film – actors are hired to portray an All American family; their purpose is to covertly market and sell products to the community.
Wouldn’t expect any of the original film’s cast- which also included Amber Heard and Gary Cole – to return for the series.
