We have an update – from someone closely connected to the pic – on Phil Noyce’s upcoming spy-thriller “Salt”. Seems star Angelina Jolie has flipped for the last draft of the script, written by Brian Helgeland, and it’s full speed ahead.
Our insider tells us that :
Angelina apparently flipped for Brian’s new script,which she absolutely adored.
Crew off to Russia next week to scout locations for the scenes involving the training of the Russian sleeper spys.These scenes are set in the 1970s and 80s.
The ending is rumoured to have been changed from a White House setting to Camp David.
Shooting still on course for early March start in NYC.
The Phil Noyce-helmed flick, which tells of a CIA officer who is fingered as a Russian sleeper spy, was penned by Kurt Wimmer (“Equilibrium”).
