Uziel writing a Heist for Waugh

“22 Jump Street’s” Oren Uziel will write the screenplay for Dreamworks’ “Heist”.

Scott Waugh (“Need for Speed”) will direct the thriller and will produce with Steve Zaillian. Garrett Basch will exec produce.

As the script stands, the film follows two brothers attempting a risky robbery, however Variety reports that Uziel may take this in a new direction.

Uziel is currently working on a “Men in Black” reboot and is writing Disney’s “Overnight”.
