“The Brazillian Job”, “Wolverine”, “Mortal Kombat 3”, “Lost Boys 2”

Since I’m not really jumping out of my skin about any of these projects, and none of the news is really ‘whole page worthy’, lets do one of these mash-up’s again. Man, this strike is depressing… just look at some of these snoozeworthy

I don’t agree. ‘Dumb and Dumber’ wasn’t a chick flick, but eventually women got in there. Also, they don’t think it’s going to be big overseas because no one knows of it, but again, nobody knew about ‘Dumb and Dumber.’ We are going to do it eventually.”

Over on the IMDB, “Mortal Kombat 3” director Mink tells fans that the new film doesn’t have anything to do with the others in the series – it’s a restart. “That film and the new film have nothing in common despite the MK title. Different scripts, different film makers, different time and two different visions so we will be ok. I appreciate your candid thoughts and they are noted but I can not and won’t spend my time looking at some other work and trying to over analysis it or compare what I am doing to it. I get up ever day with the intention of pushing my stories and craft to the next level and my projects are going to be the best they can be always including this one. The film is a re-invsioning of a beloved franchise much as Batman Begins was a re-invisioning of a franchise that had multiple movie versions…” Having said that, original cast members including Christopher Lambert and Linden Ashby, have met with Mink about reprising their roles in the new film.
