Announced today, Vpremium, the latest cinema concept to launch in Australia; it will deliver an elevated experience for traditional movie lovers.
This week Village Cinemas will launch two Vpremium theatres at its Jam Factory location.
The cinemas will encompass :
• Large coupled comfy seats complete with arm rest, drink holder and table;
• More intimate 180-seat cinemas;
• An extensive tasty menu, featuring pizzas, burgers, nachos and desserts including panacotta and chocolate mousse, all enjoyed in cinema; and
• Customers will be able to wash down their meal with a cocktail, beer, wine or spirit.
“Vpremium is the perfect setting for date night, or mate night, for only slightly more than a traditional movie ticket. A bar to be located outside the Vpremium cinemas is set to open its doors later this year at the Jam Factory”, says the presser.
Village Cinemas Australia CEO Kirk Edwards said Vpremium provided a step up from the traditional cinema-going experience for a few extra dollars.
“Launching an additional premium cinema offering is another example of Village Cinemas pioneering innovation within the cinema industry,” Mr Edwards said.
“We are excited to be able to offer this unique cinema concept exclusively at Village Cinemas Jam Factory, where patrons can enjoy the latest blockbuster in a relaxed environment.”
Vpremium will be partnering with like-minded brands such as UBER and Peroni to launch the cinema experience. As an added kicker, the first 10,000 customers to book tickets online will receive up to $35 off their first UBER ride.
