Warner Bros bringing Monstrumoligist to the big screen

Warner Bros has secured the film rights to Rick Yancey’s “Monstrumoligist” series, reports Variety.
Jessica Postigo will adapt the screenplay from the young-adult horror story which follows Dr. Pellinore Warthrop and his assistant/orphan Will Henry.
Dr. Warthrop studies dangerous creatures and monsters but, in 1888, a nightmarish specimen is carted to the monstrumologist’s home — an anthropuphagi, a vicious man-eating creature without a head.
“The Monstrumologist” was published in 2009. “The Curse of the Wendigo” followed in 2010 before “The Isle of Blood” (2011) and “The Final Descent” (2013).
