Breck Eisner, who with the help of some superlative make-up design and terrific DPing, gave us one of the best horror flicks of 2010, “The Crazies”, is in talks with Summit to write and direct “The Last Witch Hunter”.
According to Deadline, the script comes from the hand of “Priest” scribe Cory Goodman and tells of “one of the last remaining witch hunters, a breed that keeps the population of witches and warlocks in check. They are about to repopulate in a major way unless he can stop them”.
Timur Bekmambetov, who is busy doing “Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter”, was originally booked to direct; he stays on as a producer.
