We’ll have to wait a little longer for Underworld 5

Originally due to open in October, Screen Gems has pushed “Underworld : Blood Wars” back three months – to January 6, 2017.

In the new slot, “Underworld” goes up against the long-delayed Weinstein release “Amityville : The Awakening”, starring Bella Thorne and Universal’s “Mena” starring Tom Cruise.

Kicking off production in Plague last October, “Underworld : Blood Wars” brings back Kate Beckinsale’s Selene, Theo James as David, and Charles Dance as vampire leader Thomas.
Anna Foerster makes her directorial debut on the film.
