Snipes, these days slumming it away in DTV land, is in talks with director Leon Ichaso (Ël Cantante”) to play Jazz legend Thelonious Monk, according to MTV.
Though he’s apparently talked to Denzel Washington as well, Ichaso seems confident that Snipes is his man.
Wonder if he’ll be able to get the thing financed with Snipes onboard though?
