What’s Donovan’s Echo?

Trailer for the next Jim Cliffe effort online

Jim Cliffe did such a terrific job on his short “Tomorrow’s Memoir” – as anyone that caught it at Comic Con will attest to – that I wouldn’t at all be surprised if he wrote to me one day and told me ‘I’m writing the new Batman’ film or ‘I’ve just sold a TV series to Spike’ – he’s that good. And therefore he gets free plugs.

A concept teaser for the award-winning feature length screenplay “Donovan’s Echo” has just been released online. Awarded Bronze in the 2007 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards in Hollywood,it was co-written by Cliffe director of the San Diego Comic-Con award-winning short film “Tomorrow’s Memoir”.

Written with his writing partner, Melodie Krieger, “Echo” tells the story of a man who struggles to understand why a bizarre series of events are repeating on the 45th anniversary of his personal tragedy. As the week draws to a close, Donovan risks everything in an attempt to prevent tragedy from striking twice — only to encounter an unusual twist that he had subconsciously known all along.
