“Step Brothers” stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are reuniting for Sony comedy “Holmes & Watson”.
Etan Cohen is directing the film which is inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes.
Ferrell will play Holmes and Reilly will play Watson.
Sony originally bought the script with Ferrell attached to star opposite Sacha Baron Cohen. That project stalled and the film eventually came back together with Reilly on board.
The plan is to begin shooting toward the end of the year. Mosaic and Gary Sanchez are producing.
