Will Ferrell moves into The Office

Will Ferrell has agreed to guest-star on four episodes of “The Office”, according to Deadline.

Ferrell, a fan of the show and also a good friend of it’s star Steve Carell (they did “Anchorman” together), will play a part in Carell’s last few episodes and then make an appearance in the first episode after Carell’s character Michael Scott exits, serving as somewhat of a bridge.

Ferrell is playing an inappropriate branch manager, not unlike Scott.

Carell’s full-time replacement on “The Office” is yet to be announced.
