Will Ferrell is being courted for a Shakespearean theater comedy, says Variety.
Sony has bought a pitch from Mosaic that centers around the intense, competitive world inside a Shakespearean theater company.
David Guion and Michael Handelman would write the screenplay for the movie.
The project would reunite Sony and Ferrell, who worked on “Step Brothers”, “Talladega Nights” and “The Other Guys” together.
